Key accountabilities
- Obtain required approvals before lifting operations commence.
- Ensure routine lifts have general lifting plans and critical or complex lifts have specific plans approved under the applicable procedure and permit-to-work process.
- Ensure approved method statements and risk-control measures are in place and communicated before supervised lifting operations.
- Verify cranes are third-party certified as fit for use and lifting personnel are third-party certified and competent.
- Implement applicable EHSMS requirements and permit conditions for critical lifts.
- Ensure lifting tackle is safely stored and handled for reuse or removal.
Certification
- LEEA certification is required.
