Bartender role focused on memorable, distinctive beverage and guest experiences.
The bartender serves as a host, contributes to broader guest service, and helps ensure the bar looks and functions well.
Role duties
- Prepare quality drinks and stay aware of beverage trends, local offerings, and guests’ evolving needs.
- Take ownership of guest service beyond the bar and build relationships across the hotel and community.
- Keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly; attend to money handled, guest information, and drink quality.
- Follow workplace safety requirements and company policies, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and maintain professional appearance.
- Perform hands-on work with extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking; handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified.
Work arrangement
- The position is not remote and is based at The St. Regis Residence, Marsa Arabia Island, Doha, Qatar.
- The schedule is full time.
