The bartender creates memorable and unique guest experiences and serves as a host of the bar space.
The role requires beverage enthusiasm, knowledge of trends and local offerings, and attention to guest needs and drink quality.
Responsibilities
- Make the bar look and function flawlessly and provide broader guest service beyond the bar itself.
- Build relationships across the hotel and local community to anticipate and deliver on guest needs.
- Handle payments carefully and provide guests with accurate information.
- Follow company policies, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and maintain professional appearance.
- Perform hands-on duties that may involve extended standing, walking, reaching, bending, and moving objects up to 25 pounds.
Preferred qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is specified.
