The Lifeguard ensures guest safety and wellbeing at the pool and recreational areas.
The role promotes a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor guests in and around pools and recreational water areas to prevent accidents.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations consistently.
- Respond to emergencies, including performing rescues and first aid procedures.
- Inspect pool areas and equipment regularly for safety.
- Educate guests about pool safety and usage guidelines.
- Maintain accurate incident and safety-check records.
- Coordinate with recreation and security teams to support guest safety.
- Attend regular training and maintain required certifications.
Qualifications and experience
- Current lifeguard certification and current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
- Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and decisive during emergencies are sought.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Prior lifeguard experience is preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
