Learning and development strategy

• Drive the property's Learning & Development strategy in line with business priorities, brand expectations, and service ambition.
• Conduct Learning Needs Analysis and create an annual learning plan and calendar.
• Implement and monitor IHG University and ensure required learning pathways are deployed, tracked, and completed.
• Facilitate leadership development for supervisors, managers, and senior leaders using approved IHG content.

Training and colleague development

• Support personal development plans and succession planning with department heads, including development priorities for high-potential talent.
• Lead the Departmental Trainer framework; train, coach, and support departmental trainers.
• Coordinate onboarding, departmental training, and mandatory compliance programmes.
• Support career development, maintain accurate learning records, and promote a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.

What the role requires

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant Learning & Development, Training, or Human Resources experience; hospitality experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, guest experience standards, and quality management practices.
• Learning management system and training administration experience is advantageous.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, influence, and collaboration skills.
