Guest service and safety

• Monitor pool and recreational activity, enforce safety rules, identify hazards, and take steps to prevent accidents.
• Greet guests, distribute towels, assist with seating, answer questions about hotel facilities, and respond to guest requests and complaints.
• Demonstrate exercises and explain or show correct techniques to help minimize injury.
• Report hazards, injuries, defects, equipment issues, and incidents promptly to supervisors or relevant departments.
• Communicate food and beverage service requests to pool servers and work with other departments to support guest experience.

Facilities and operations

• Clean and maintain pool deck, gym, changing rooms, restrooms, furniture, and other facilities; prepare the pool deck and arrange furniture.
• Monitor pool and gym towel supplies, collect used towels, and obtain clean towels from laundry.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas; handle waste and recycling appropriately and use cleaning products economically.
• Follow opening and closing procedures, attend daily briefings and training, and maintain secure handling of keys, task sheets, and equipment.
• Hand lost-and-found items to the appropriate hotel supervisor and report suspicious activity, damage, fire, or other incidents.

Safety and service knowledge

• Basic knowledge of first-aid principles and practices; know the location and contents of the First Aid Kit.
• Know safety hazards and precautions needed to help establish a safe work environment.
• Follow hotel health, hygiene, fire, emergency, pool, gym, and workplace safety procedures.
• Provide courteous, professional guest service and cooperate with coworkers and other departments.

Workplace and conduct

• The role is based in physical hotel pool and fitness facilities and may be assigned to other property areas.
• Maintain required uniform, grooming, punctuality, and professional conduct; do not share guest names or room numbers.
• Do not leave the assigned section without handing over to a reliever; follow key-control and equipment-care procedures.
