- Degree or post graduate degree in Library and Information Science;
- 5 years experience in the library industry; and
- Recognised teaching qualification.
Experience required
- Knowledge of library and information services, systems, procedures and current developments;
- Experience and skills in library and information services, particularly information literacy programs;
- Well developed communication, negotiation, problem solving and information technology skills;
- Teaching and assessment experience in a range of areas within the specific discipline;
- Extensive knowledge of curriculum and related assessment practices within the specific discipline; and
- Understanding and ability to implement competency based assessment.
