Legal Representative - Court Liaison Officer

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and follow up on court hearings before Dubai Courts and Courts of the Northern Emirates.
• Liaise with police stations, Public Prosecution offices, courts, and government authorities regarding ongoing legal matters.
• Monitor and track case progress through all stages of litigation.
• Follow up on criminal cases, including police complaints, investigations, prosecution procedures, and court proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with all procedural deadlines, including appeal periods, objection periods, execution procedures, and other statutory time limits.
• Coordinate with lawyers and legal consultants regarding hearing outcomes, procedural updates, and required actions.
• Obtain court documents, judgments, hearing minutes, and official records as required.
• Submit and follow up on applications, requests, and procedural filings before relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of court dates, legal deadlines, and case developments.
• Provide regular updates and reports regarding case status and procedural developments.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience within the UAE legal sector.
• Strong practical knowledge of Dubai Courts and Northern Emirates court procedures.
• Proven experience in handling and following up criminal matters before police stations, Public Prosecution, and criminal courts.
• Thorough understanding of litigation procedures, appeal deadlines, execution procedures, and court filing requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Familiarity with court portals and legal systems used within the UAE is highly desirable.

• The ideal candidate is a proactive legal professional with extensive hands-on experience dealing directly with courts, police authorities, and prosecution offices in the UAE. He or she should possess a strong understanding of procedural requirements and be capable of ensuring that no critical legal deadlines or procedural steps are missed.
