Role overview

A client is seeking a Legal Practitioner to co-deliver a live online workshop on practical AI use in legal practice.

Workshop delivery and preparation

  • Co-deliver a 3-hour live online workshop alongside an AI instructor.
  • Lead a session on professional responsibilities, including confidentiality, attorney-client privilege, data protection, and professional conduct when using AI.
  • Demonstrate AI support for legal research, drafting, and document review.
  • Facilitate exercises to identify AI-generated errors, fabricated citations, and missing contractual clauses.
  • Guide participants in checking AI-generated legal content against reliable sources.
  • Develop and demonstrate an AI-powered legal workflow with the AI instructor.
  • Review prompts, verification checklists, and reference guides; share practical examples from legal work.
  • Answer participant questions and provide practical guidance on responsible AI use.
  • Allow approximately one preparation day and a short post-training debrief.

Required qualifications

  • Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one US state, with at least 5 years of professional legal practice.
  • Daily hands-on use of AI tools in legal research, drafting, document review, or related workflows.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality, attorney-client privilege, data protection, and professional conduct when using AI and cloud-based tools.
  • Able to identify and verify AI-generated legal information, and understand AI capabilities, limitations, and risks in legal practice.
  • Excellent spoken English, strong presentation and communication skills, and confidence delivering interactive online sessions to senior legal professionals.
  • Able to explain legal and technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of AI knowledge.
  • Available for approximately one preparation day and a 3-hour workshop scheduled around UAE morning hours; able to provide a professional biography and headshot for the client proposal.

Nice to have

  • In-house legal counsel experience at a technology or AI company.
  • Experience in legal operations, workflow automation, or process improvement.
  • Experience delivering CLE, webinars, workshops, or professional legal training.
  • Published articles or research on AI applications in legal practice.
  • Familiarity with UAE/GCC legal systems and professional practice.

Schedule

  • The online workshop is 3 hours, with approximately one preparation day and a short post-training debrief.
  • Workshop timing is scheduled around UAE morning hours.

Workplace

  • The workshop is live and online.
