Job Description

• Provide legal advice and support to the General Counsel, senior management, and staff on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.
• Lead initiatives for the digital transformation of the Legal Department, including the use of AI, automation, and technology solutions to improve processes and outcomes.
• Review, draft, negotiate, and approve agreements, marketing, advertising, and promotional materials, and other legal documents to minimize risk and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
• **Develop and oversee internal policies on customer agreements, terms of service, risk disclosures, and other client-facing legal documentation, ensuring compliance with CMA and other regulatory requirements.**
• Manage regulatory filings, submissions, licensing requirements, and relationships with regulators across relevant jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop and oversee internal policies on customer agreements, terms of service, and risk disclosures.
• **Develop and implement broader legal risk management policies and procedures to support the business’s compliance and governance framework.**
• Conduct legal research and provide updates on changes in laws, regulations, and their impact on the business.
• Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Deliver legal training and promote a culture of compliance across teams.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g. compliance, risk, business units) to align legal strategies with business objectives.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) required; LLM or equivalent legal qualifications preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3-4 years of senior in-house legal experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, contract law, commercial law, and corporate governance, with strong knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
• Extensive experience managing legal risk, leading projects, and providing clear, practical advice to non-legal stakeholders in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in reviewing marketing, advertising, and promotional materials to ensure legal compliance.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory interactions.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
