Data Compliance & Legal Manager – Middle East & Africa

About This Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional data compliance frameworks aligned with local regulations and company policies
• Monitor data risks and ensure effective data management practices, including cross-border data handling
• Provide legal support including contract review, advisory, and risk assessment across the region
• Track regulatory changes and manage legal matters, including coordination with external counsel
• Identify compliance risks and strengthen internal control processes to ensure regulatory adherence
• Support audits and promote ethical business practices, including anti-fraud and anti-corruption policies
• Partner with HR, Finance, Sales, and leadership to provide legal and compliance guidance
• Conduct training sessions to enhance legal awareness and compliance culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Data Analysis, Information Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal, compliance, or data governance
• Familiarity with Middle East & Africa regulations is an advantage
• Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, SQL)
• Excellent English communication and legal drafting skills
• Strong analytical thinking, risk awareness, and stakeholder management skills
