Role overview
The Qatar legal consultancy team is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented junior legal consultant.
The role covers corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters across multiple industries.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and review lease, sale and purchase, distribution, service, shareholders, joint venture, commercial, and corporate documents.
- Research Qatari law across commercial, corporate, real estate, civil transactions, construction, maritime, insurance, commercial agency, and bankruptcy matters.
- Prepare opinions, reports, memorandums, and client advisories under supervision.
- Support senior consultants and the assistant manager with client matters, case strategy, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft digital marketing articles and newsletters; coordinate with authorities, regulators, and clients.
- Maintain documentation, meet assignment deadlines, and manage multiple tasks accurately.
Candidate requirements
- LL.B. or equivalent qualification and National Law School graduate.
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience at a reputed law firm or legal consultancy firm in Qatar.
- Understanding of Qatari laws and legal procedures.
- Strong legal drafting and analytical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal documentation.
- Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
