The Business Development Manager identifies business opportunities, builds and maintains client relationships, and drives company growth.
Responsibilities
- Research markets, identify growth areas, and monitor industry trends.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, and marketing strategies.
- Build relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders and understand client needs.
- Develop and present client proposals; negotiate pricing, schedules, and contract terms.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams.
- Develop strategic plans and identify new markets, products, or services.
- Analyze sales data, forecast sales, and set targets.
- Analyze customer feedback to improve offerings and customer experience.
- Report business development progress and results to management.
- Identify business development risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Desired profile
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure, and work independently or in a team.
- Demonstrates creative thinking, initiative, and rigorous analysis.
Qualifications
- Graduate in economics, business management, or finance, or hold a CFA or MBA.
- Research and business consulting experience is preferred.
