Learning and Development Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Identify development needs through performance reviews, job analysis, employee feedback, and consultation with department heads.
• Design, plan, and implement training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives.
• Coordinate and facilitate internal and external training sessions; develop training materials, presentations, and learning resources.
• Evaluate training through assessments, feedback, and post-training performance reviews; maintain training records and documentation.
• Prepare reports and analyze learning outcomes; support onboarding, induction, development plans, career progression, and succession planning.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure activities comply with company policies and applicable requirements.
• Improve training methods and engagement, stay current on learning trends and technologies, and support LMS implementation and use where applicable.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development, Training, Human Resources, or a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Strong experience in training coordination, program development, facilitation, and employee development.
• Strong communication, presentation, coaching, interpersonal, planning, organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; LMS familiarity is an advantage.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methodologies is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments; attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.

Compensation

• Monthly salary is AED 4,000–6,000.

Workplace and employment

• Full-time, in-person work in the United Arab Emirates.
