Role Overview
Direct and advise project engineering activities across FEED and EPC project stages, reporting to the Project Manager.
Act as the engineering focal point and functional advisor across engineering disciplines.

Direct and advise project engineering activities across FEED and EPC project stages, reporting to the Project Manager.
Act as the engineering focal point and functional advisor across engineering disciplines.
Project engineering leadership
- Define engineering resources and set up the team of engineers and consultants.
- Lead engineering delivery to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective, and timely work.
- Define specifications, ensure design compliance, and approve completed designs before final dossier release.
- Prepare and monitor engineering execution plans and provide progress reporting.
- Support bid evaluations, PHA reviews, technical audits, and contractor claims avoidance.
- Support contracts, budgets, construction, commissioning, start-up, consultant payment approvals, and project handover.
- Manage engineering staff performance and appraisals; collaborate with other departments.
- Lead HSE efforts and promote safe work systems, quality, risk assessments, audits, and emergency drills.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- At least 15 years of relevant oil and gas engineering experience, including at least 5 years in project management.
- Hands-on design, consultancy, and site support experience on brownfield and greenfield projects in supervisory and management roles.
- Additional technical, engineering, or project management qualifications are advantageous.
Skills and competencies
- Knowledge of oil and gas engineering practices, FEED, EPC, and risk management.
- Strong management, leadership, people, listening, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is advantageous.
- PC/IT literacy.
Project environment
- The role provides engineering support across project stages, including construction, commissioning, and site support.
