What You’ll Do

• Own deployment delivery from scoping through UAT, go-live, and post-launch reporting; lead complex or high-stakes integrations.
• Present architecture, performance, and roadmap to senior officials, including IAS-level stakeholders and department heads.
• Own technical conversations about data security, hosting, and compliance, including SDC/NIC, MeitY-empanelled cloud, and data residency.
• Lead RFP and proposal solutioning, including architecture, effort estimates, SLAs, and technical compliance responses; run demos and pre-bid discussions.
• Convert field learnings into platform priorities with product and engineering, representing the government customer internally.

Must-Haves

• About 10 years in software engineering, including 4+ years in client-facing deployment, solutions, or implementation engineering.
• At least 2 years leading engineers formally or as a tech lead across multiple concurrent deployments.
• Hands-on skills in Python and/or TypeScript, APIs and integrations, SQL, AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure, and production monitoring.
• Practical experience shipping LLM-based systems, including prompting, RAG, function calling, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Proven delivery of complex systems to enterprise or public-sector clients under tight timelines and changing requirements.
• Executive-level written and spoken English and Hindi, including presenting to non-technical senior audiences.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site during critical deployment phases.

Good to Have and Preferred

• Direct central or state government, PSU, or large government-funded programme delivery experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of government procurement and delivery, including RFPs, technical bids, work orders, UAT, sign-off, payment milestones, and audit expectations, is a plus.
• Gujarati or another regional language is advantageous for future state deployments.
• Voice or telephony experience with SIP, IVR, contact-centre platforms, or ASR/TTS vendors is preferred.
• Experience at a system integrator, GovTech firm, or high-growth startup is preferred.
