Lead Field Service Electronics Technician

• This role could be the next step in your career if you demonstrate the following experience: • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. • Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework and internship experience. • This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire. • Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings. • Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle. • Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter. • Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances. We will not consider candidates who: • Reside outside the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following: • Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree engineering program at an accredited institution or applicable military training and experience. • Three (3)+ years experience working with power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics. • Electrical Technology Certificate. • Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques.
