Lead Experience Designer

Role overview

Design and research responsibilities

• Lead design from discovery workshops and journey mapping through concept visualizations, prototypes, and shipped products.
• Design alongside engineers and validate with working prototypes rather than static handoffs.
• Shape conversational, multimodal, and autonomous agent experiences using trust, transparency, user control, and responsible AI guardrails.
• Use AI tools to accelerate ideation and research without compromising craft or usability.
• Conduct lean research and continuous validation; champion accessibility and inclusive design.
• Build and govern design systems and component libraries with engineering partners.

Client and practice leadership

• Advise client executives on AI-native products, data platforms, and digital transformations.
• Support pre-sales by shaping engagements, creating proposals, and building trusted client relationships.
• Help establish local design capability and culture and influence multidisciplinary teams in the Middle East.
• Facilitate workshops and articulate design rationale to technical and executive audiences.

Experience and design qualifications

• Requires 8+ years of product design experience and a portfolio showing visual quality, UX reasoning, rapid prototyping, and ownership of shipped products.
• Requires experience leading design on large-scale programs and 0-to-1 launches and navigating senior stakeholder groups.
• Requires expertise in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and lean validation.
• Requires fluency in AI- and data-driven product design and AI-enabled design tools.
• Requires grounding in human-centered design, accessibility, inclusive design, and responsive or adaptive design.
• Conversational interface design experience or experiments are requested for AI chat, assistants, voice, or multimodal experiences.

Professional qualifications

• Requires KSA or Middle East design experience, or strong experience developing products for Riyadh or the region.
• Requires client leadership and consultative selling experience, including diagnosing needs and co-creating solutions.
• Requires strong workshop facilitation and communication skills across technical and executive audiences.

Working model

• Hybrid working model with three days on-site per week.
