Lead Experience Designer

Role overview

Design and delivery

• Lead discovery workshops, map user journeys, develop concepts, and build interactive prototypes across engagement phases.
• Design in parallel with engineering and validate ideas with working prototypes.
• Shape conversational, multimodal, and autonomous-agent flows around trust, transparency, user control, and responsible AI.
• Use AI design and research tools, including examples such as Figma, UX Pilot, Bolt, Murai, Maze, and LLM research tools.
• Conduct lean research and testing, champion accessibility and inclusion, and validate continuously.
• Build and govern design systems and component libraries with engineering partners.

Client leadership and practice building

• Advise client executives on AI-native products, data platforms, and digital transformations.
• Help shape pre-sales engagements and proposals and establish trusted client relationships.
• Build local Experience Design capabilities, influence multidisciplinary teams, and develop regional design culture.

Experience and design qualifications

• Bring 8+ years of product design experience and a portfolio showing visual quality, UX reasoning, rapid prototyping, and shipped-product ownership.
• Have led design on large-scale programs and 0-to-1 product launches and navigated senior stakeholder groups.
• Bring expertise in research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and lean validation.
• Be fluent in design for AI and data-driven products and use AI-enabled design tools in daily work.
• Have experience applying human-centered design and innovation in organizations at scale.
• Have strong grounding in accessibility, inclusive design, and responsive/adaptive design.
• Conversational interface experience or experiments are sought, including AI chat, assistants, voice, or multimodal experiences.

Professional skills

• KSA/Middle East design experience or strong experience developing products for Riyadh/Middle East is sought.
• Build executive relationships and lead conversations across design, technology, and business strategy.
• Bring consultative selling and senior client leadership experience, including diagnosing needs and co-creating solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and explain design rationale to technical and executive audiences.
• The role also emphasizes critique, multidisciplinary collaboration, community building, and an open, curious mindset.

Working model

• Hybrid working model with three days per week on-site.
