Lead Cloud & Data Platform Engineer

What You Will Be Doing

Own the cloud data platform end‐to‐end, including environment provisioning, networking, security, automation, and operational readiness.

Design and implement cloud‐native data pipelines and platform components that are scalable, observable, and cost‐efficient.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, infrastructure, and application deployments using Azure DevOps.

Implement infrastructure‐as‐code (Terraform/Bicep) to automate Snowflake, Azure services, networking, and security configurations.

Set up and manage orchestration & monitoring frameworks, including Prefect, ADF, or similar tools.

Develop API‐driven integrations using MuleSoft to connect cloud and on‐prem systems securely.

Lead the modernization to Snowflake/Databricks, including re‐architecting pipelines, data models, and operational workflows.

Establish platform observability, including logging, alerting, data quality checks, and operational dashboards.

Troubleshoot complex cloud and data platform issues, ensuring reliability and uptime.

Collaborate with architects and business partners to design cloud‐ready, production‐grade solutions.

Mentor engineers on cloud engineering, DevOps, and data engineering best practices.

Evaluate and introduce new cloud capabilities, tools, and automation patterns to improve platform maturity.
