The role focuses on government AI projects, Generative AI, intelligent agents, and responsible AI.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI strategy implementation aligned with government priorities and policies.
- Assess AI use cases for feasibility, business value, and ROI.
- Drive adoption of Generative AI, intelligent agents, and AI-powered solutions.
- Establish governance frameworks covering ethics, transparency, accountability, security, and responsible use.
- Advise stakeholders on AI roadmaps, emerging technologies, and digital transformation.
- Oversee project delivery against business, regulatory, and government standards.
- Translate business challenges into scalable solutions with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Mentor teams and guide adoption, performance measurement, and improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Master's degree or PhD preferred.
- 8–15 years of professional experience, including 5–8 years on AI projects with leading UAE government entities.
- Professional AI Engineering or Machine Learning certification from an accredited cloud provider such as Microsoft, AWS, or Google.
- Knowledge of the UAE AI Strategy 2031 and UAE Charter for the Development and Use of AI.
- Expertise in AI strategy, Generative AI, intelligent agents, governance, and ethical implementation.
- Ability to identify government AI use cases and measure business value and ROI.
- Stakeholder management, strategic advisory, and leadership skills.
