Lead Analyst

Role purpose

Key responsibilities

• Build stakeholder relationships, understand business challenges, and define and document project requirements.
• Lead information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of the business.
• Design and model SQL data structures to integrate and prepare data and generate reports.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations using Sisense or similar BI tools, such as Power BI, Looker or Tableau.
• Help business users apply project outputs to make data-driven decisions.
• Break down requirements, simplify architectures and collaborate with teams to deliver data solutions aligned with objectives.
• Liaise with internal and external clients to understand data content.
• Identify performance, visualization and reporting challenges and suggest code and architecture improvements.

Skills and experience

• Great knowledge of T-SQL is a must.
• Good command of BI tools such as Sisense or similar tools, including Power BI, Looker or Tableau.
• Data Warehouse experience and very good command of Excel.
• Cloud server experience such as GCP or Azure is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, presentation and communication skills, including explaining complex findings to non-technical audiences.
• Analytical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects to completion.
• Able to contribute independently and as part of a team.
