Lead Data Analyst role in Wise’s Data Platform area within the Platform Engineering Tribe.
The role covers data infrastructure, analytics, machine learning, and AI platforms.
The analyst will evaluate platform value and help influence investment and product decisions.
How you’ll contribute
- Identify important questions with teams, agree success measures, and help prioritize investment.
- Lead analytical projects from problem selection through recommendations teams can use.
- Build and maintain reliable, repeatable data pipelines and models.
- Bring evidence and trade-offs into engineering and product discussions.
- Share methods and knowledge so other analysts and engineers can build on the work.
Technical expectations
- At least 6 years of commercial experience in a product-led environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with visualization tools such as Looker, Superset, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Experience automating and building data pipelines, with ETL tools such as dbt and Airflow.
- Skill using REST APIs to develop and manage data integrations.

- Use critical thinking to investigate open-ended questions, challenge assumptions, and identify useful evidence.
- Explain complex findings clearly and build trust across technical and business perspectives.
- Show curiosity and ownership by understanding systems and following problems through.
