Laundry Supervisor

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of laundry attendants and operators.
• Ensure proper sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution of laundry items.
• Monitor laundry quality standards and take corrective action when necessary.
• Schedule and assign work duties to laundry staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Train new employees on laundry procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
• Maintain adequate inventory of detergents, chemicals, linen, uniforms, and other supplies.
• Inspect laundry equipment regularly and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
• Track laundry production volumes and prepare operational reports.
• Handle guest, customer, or departmental complaints related to laundry services and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor labor productivity and assist in controlling departmental costs.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of clean and soiled linen according to established procedures.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational training or certification in laundry operations, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• 2–5 years of laundry operations experience.
• Previous supervisory experience in a hotel, hospital, commercial laundry, or similar environment preferred.
• Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,700.00 per month
