Landscape Projects Engineer

Role overview

Project delivery and compliance

• Plan and deliver landscaping projects from concept and estimation through proposals, site management, and completion; monitor timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Lead teams, contractors, and subcontractors; communicate with clients and attend progress meetings to support timely execution.
• Obtain and manage approvals and permits from RTA, Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Dubai South, and other relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes, company standards, and environmental, design, and safety requirements; keep current with regulations and industry practices.

Technical and team leadership

• Oversee swimming pool design, construction, and maintenance; horticulture, softscape, planting, and care; and irrigation design, installation, and operation.
• Oversee civil and MEP works, including site preparation, grading, drainage, and infrastructure coordination, and hardscape works such as paving, retaining walls, pergolas, and outdoor structures.
• Mentor and motivate project and maintenance teams, foster safety and efficiency, conduct performance evaluations, and implement training.

Clients and reporting

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities; address client concerns and provide progress updates.
• Prepare and present timely reports on progress, budgets, and maintenance activities; communicate with internal teams, clients, and authorities.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of landscaping project and maintenance experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience managing approvals with RTA, Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Dubai South, and other relevant authorities.
• Strong leadership, team management, and project management skills, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Excellent technical knowledge of landscaping, swimming pools, irrigation, civil, MEP, hardscape, and softscape works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera, or equivalent project management tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities; PMP certification is a plus.
