Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field and 3–7 years of relevant landscape design, construction, or consultancy experience.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design, planting, hardscape, irrigation, outdoor amenities, plants, soil, climate, construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
• Ability to prepare drawings, layouts, specifications, and presentations; coordinate with project stakeholders; and apply communication, planning, design, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC project experience and local landscape requirements are an advantage.

Design and documentation

• Develop landscape concepts, designs, and detailed plans; prepare master plans, planting plans, hardscape and irrigation layouts, and construction details.
• Produce drawings, specifications, material schedules, and design documentation; select appropriate plants, materials, and landscape features.
• Coordinate landscape designs with architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and irrigation requirements.

Construction coordination and delivery

• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and technical proposals.
• Conduct site visits and inspections, monitor compliance with approved designs, provide technical guidance, and resolve site design or construction issues.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams; review progress against required quality, design, and specification standards.
• Assist with project planning, cost estimates, material selection, and quantity requirements; coordinate design changes and revisions.
• Maintain project documentation, drawings, approvals, and design records; support delivery from concept through construction and completion.

Design standards and work location

• Ensure designs account for sustainability, water efficiency, environmental conditions, and long-term maintenance.
• Ensure landscape works comply with relevant codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Work location is in person.
