Project and role

Surveying and verification

• Supervise the survey team and review contractor survey work for accuracy and compliance.
• Verify control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates against the approved project datum and grid.
• Check setting-out of alignments, levels, coordinates, and dimensions for roads, utilities, structures, hardscape, landscape, and other works.
• Conduct independent surveys and spot checks against approved drawings and tolerances; identify drawing and site discrepancies and help resolve setting-out issues.
• Review survey reports, layout drawings, as-built surveys, and topographic surveys for completeness and consistency.

Coordination, records, and quality

• Coordinate surveying with roads, structures, utilities, hardscape, and landscape disciplines to support interfaces and avoid clashes.
• Maintain, calibrate, and safeguard total stations, GPS/GNSS, levels, laser instruments, and other survey equipment.
• Keep organized digital and hard-copy survey data, field notes, and as-built records.
• Support earthwork quantity verification and volumetric calculations for commercial and quantity surveying teams.
• Provide survey inputs in coordination meetings and follow HSE requirements, safe work practices, and Parsons quality procedures.
• Assist with as-built drawings and final survey records for client and authority handover.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Land or engineering surveying experience on large-scale infrastructure, public realm, or urban development projects, including several years in a senior or lead surveyor role.
• Strong proficiency with total stations, GPS/GNSS, digital levels, and survey data processing tools.

Desired qualifications

• Understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, leveling, and construction setting-out for civil, structural, and landscape works.
• Experience in site-based construction supervision verifying contractor setting-out and as-built data.
• Ability to interpret engineering, architectural, and utility drawings and turn them into precise field layouts.
• Attention to detail, analytical and record-keeping skills, accuracy, and quality focus.
• Communication and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• KSA or GCC experience is preferred.
