Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Land Surveyor role based in Dubai.
The Land Surveyor will perform field surveys to collect accurate site data for landscaping and construction projects, including setting out boundaries, levels, and reference points.
Daily tasks include operating survey instruments, recording measurements, preparing topographic and building survey data, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors.
The role involves verifying site dimensions, assisting with design layouts, and providing as-built survey reports to support project execution and handover.
The Land Surveyor will also help ensure that all surveying activities follow project specifications, local regulations, and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core land surveying practices, including Land Surveying and Surveying methods for construction and landscaping projects.
- Hands-on experience with modern survey instruments, particularly Total Station and related equipment or software.
- Ability to conduct and interpret Topographic Surveys for design, grading, and drainage planning.
- Experience with Building Surveying, including setting out, verification of dimensions, and preparation of as-built data.
- Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with survey software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) for processing and presenting survey data.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in varying outdoor conditions and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous atleast 5 to 7 years of experience in landscaping, infrastructure, or construction projects in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
