Construction Manager

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of complex civil and landscape construction projects in line with budget, timelines, and quality standards.
• Manage all phases of construction, including infrastructure works, external civil works, soft and hard landscaping, and irrigation systems.
• Monitor and control project costs, issue EOT claims, and ensure alignment with the approved budget and cash flow forecasts.
• Supervise site operations and coordinate daily activities of construction and subcontractor teams to ensure optimal productivity and compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and any issues or delays are resolved promptly.
• Conduct and attend regular progress meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Hire, train, and manage construction crews, ensuring adherence to installation techniques, safety protocols, quality standards, and project goals.
• Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and ensure full understanding of project plans and BOQs.
• Maintain accurate and timely daily and monthly progress reports and report critical issues or delays to senior management.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and resources.
• Enforce site safety procedures and promote a safe and compliant working environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering .
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing large-scale commercial landscape and civil/infrastructure projects in the UAE region.
• Extensive knowledge of project planning, budgeting, cost control, EOT claims, and construction methodologies.
• In-depth technical expertise in landscape construction, infrastructure development, civil works, and irrigation systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and effectively communicate at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, and other relevant project management tools/software.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
