MEP Estimator

1.

Prepare accurate cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works based on drawings, specifications, and BOQs

2.

Analyze tender documents, drawings, and project requirements to identify scope of work

3.

Perform quantity take-offs for MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, and drainage (especially for landscape projects)

4.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to gather necessary inputs for estimation

5.

Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

6.

Prepare and submit tender proposals, including cost breakdowns and technical clarifications

7.

Conduct site visits when required to assess project conditions

8.

Value engineering: suggest cost-effective solutions without compromising quality

9.

Maintain updated cost databases and historical records for future reference

10.

Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, standards, and project specifications

11.

Assist in post-tender negotiations and handover to project execution teams

1.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field

2. 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Estimator in UAE (Dubai experience preferred)

3.

Strong knowledge of MEP systems in landscape (pools, lagoons & water features), construction, and infrastructure projects

4.

in irrigation systems, pumping stations, lighting, and drainage (landscape projects is a plus)

5.

Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel, PlanSwift, or similar)

6.

Good understanding of UAE authority regulations (DEWA, DM, etc.)

7.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

8.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

9.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines
