Role Purpose
To perform material testing for Innovo Infrastructure projects, conducting laboratory and field tests on soil, concrete, and aggregate samples to verify compliance with specifications.
Key Accountabilities
- **Sample Testing**
- + Conduct laboratory and field tests on soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate samples.
- + Calibrate and maintain testing equipment in accordance with standards.
- **Documentation**
- + Record and report test results accurately to the Quality Engineer.
- + Maintain sample registers and testing certificates.
- **Equipment Care**
- + Clean, store, and maintain laboratory and field testing equipment after each use.
- + Report equipment faults or calibration due-dates to the Quality Engineer promptly.
- **Sample Handling**
- + Collect, label, and transport site samples in accordance with testing protocols.
- + Ensure samples are stored under correct conditions prior to testing to preserve validity.
- **Health & Safety in the Lab**
- + Follow safe handling procedures for laboratory chemicals, tools, and testing apparatus.
- + Maintain a clean and hazard-free laboratory work environment.
- **Innovation & Value Creation**
- + Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
- + Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Materials Science
- Minimum 2–4 years of laboratory testing experience in construction
- Knowledge of relevant testing standards (ASTM/BS)
