Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship combining hands-on work with structured learning.

Role duties
- Analyze data, identify trends, and produce insights to support decisions across HMRC.
- Work with data tools, reports, and dashboards to help improve services and customer outcomes.
- Develop skills and knowledge in data quality, governance, and best practice.
- Enterprise Live Services placements may monitor service performance, identify trends, support operational decisions, and contribute to improvement of live digital services.
- CDPO placements may contribute to digital and technology projects that design and improve customer products and services.
Apprenticeship conditions
- Successful completion of the apprenticeship is required to remain in the role.
- The role is offered on a loan basis during the apprenticeship; failure or withdrawal results in return to the employee's business area.
- After successful completion, the role becomes permanent.
Locations
- Telford is available for Enterprise Live Services placements.
- Salford, Telford, and Worthing are available for CDPO placements.
Salary and benefits
- Salary is £31,096–£33,270; external applicants start at the pay band minimum.
- The role includes a Civil Service Pension with a stated employer contribution of 28.97%.
