Project overview

Project delivery

• Lead day-to-day execution from mobilization to final handover across construction and associated infrastructure works.
• Set and deliver project objectives against contractual obligations, programme milestones, budget, and quality standards.
• Develop project execution plans, construction methodologies, and resource strategies.
• Monitor schedules, progress, and milestones; identify risks, mitigate delays and cost overruns, and implement corrective actions.

Coordination and stakeholders

• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Commercial, QA/QC, HSE, and Construction teams.
• Act as the primary contact for the client, consultants, and stakeholders; attend progress meetings and provide project updates.
• Monitor budgets, cost forecasts, procurement, and subcontractor performance; support contract variations, claims, and commercial matters.
• Ensure efficient utilization of labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

Safety, quality, and team leadership

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with QatarEnergy HSE requirements and company procedures.
• Work with QA/QC and HSE teams to meet project specifications and quality standards and comply with applicable requirements.
• Lead and mentor Project Engineers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers, and Supervisors; foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 10–15 years delivering large-scale EPC, Oil & Gas, industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects, including at least five years as a Project Manager on multidisciplinary construction projects.
• Proven delivery of Civil, MEP, Architectural, Fit-Out, and Infrastructure works under EPC or turnkey contracts.
• Current or previous QatarEnergy approval or work experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, construction methodologies, contract administration, and commercial management.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP certification is highly desirable; Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office proficiency is preferred.
