The Kitchen Steward maintains cleaning, hygiene, dishwashing, and waste-removal standards in central processing areas.
The role is full-time and performed in person.
Responsibilities
- Wear a proper, clean uniform and maintain good grooming standards.
- Follow daily cleaning procedures and deep-cleaning schedules.
- Maintain high hygiene standards throughout central processing areas.
- Check dishwashing machine chemical dosing, temperature, washing, and rinsing before operation.
- Remove trash from central processing areas on time and replace bin liners.
- Handle cleaning materials safely, prevent misuse, and work cost-effectively.
- Perform other cleaning duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Report system faults to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Wear a proper, clean uniform and maintain good grooming standards.
- Follow daily and deep-cleaning procedures and schedules to maintain hygiene standards.
- Work in person at the designated workplace.
