Maintains clean, organized kitchen and dining areas and prepares equipment and workspaces for culinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Clean and organize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
- Clean and polish silverware, glassware, and chinaware.
- Assist with kitchen and dining equipment inventory.
- Remove kitchen garbage and waste promptly.
- Support food preparation and meal-service setup.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in food storage areas.
- Coordinate with stewarding supervisors and managers.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
- Set up and clean kitchen and dining areas for service.
Work standards
- Follow kitchen and dining-area hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Follow safety guidelines and company environmental, health, and safety procedures.
- Work safely and consider the health and safety of guests and colleagues, as well as environmental conservation.
