A hotel is hiring a reliable kitchen steward to maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and organization and support daily kitchen operations.
Workplace
- Work is in person at the Dubai location.
Responsibilities
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
- Operate industrial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Wash, clean, sort, stack, and store kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and chemical levels.
- Assist with receiving and stocking when required.
- Follow sanitation, safety, and company standards and maintain personal hygiene and grooming.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a kitchen steward in a hotel.
- Good communication skills, including basic reading and writing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and physically fit, with the ability to maintain speed and quality.
- A diploma or related qualification is preferred.
Preferred credentials and language
- English is preferred.
- A Food Safety Certificate is preferred.
