A Dubai food manufacturer seeks a Kitchen Manager with a strong background in food and food production.
The role contributes to the development of the company and oversees kitchen operations.
Kitchen and production operations
- Direct kitchen staff and ensure employees carry out their duties.
- Manage food service and day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Establish food production lines and develop food blends.
- Monitor kitchen operations for compliance with health and fire department regulations.
Food safety and cost control
- Ensure compliance with applicable food handling requirements and standards.
- Maintain correct product storage temperatures and keep recipe books current with menu items, portions, and ingredients.
- Monitor labor costs against budget goals and company policies.
Orders and business development
- Follow up orders through online applications such as Talabat and Careem; follow up on financial collection.
- Develop plans to promote and grow the restaurant and maintain quality.
- Contribute to business development and company growth.
Preferred experience and certification
- Five years of kitchen management experience is preferred.
- Three years of cloud kitchen management experience is preferred.
- A health and safety requirements certification is preferred.
- Experience following up orders through online applications is a plus; cloud restaurant and order-receiving experience is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–5,000 per month.
