Junior Technician - Fleet

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services and repairs under the concerned supervisor's guidance.
• Inspect equipment and record necessary readings on checklists.
• Handle tools properly and optimize the use of consumables.
• Keep work activities efficient, professional, and tidy before, during, and after each job.
• Communicate completed work to the supervisor and hand over pending jobs before the end of the shift.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment during maintenance work.
• Apply the quality policy and ISO 9001:2015 quality system, following department work procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and experience

• High school certificate or equivalent qualification is required.
• ITI/ITC certification or equivalent qualification, or a trade test certificate, is preferred.
• At least three years of similar-role experience in a ground support equipment workshop or organization, in vehicle or ground support equipment maintenance, is required.
• Knowledge and working experience in mechanical, auto electrical, vehicle instrumentation, automobile air-conditioning, refrigeration, tyre maintenance, welding, or fabrication are required.
• Candidates must understand written and spoken English and have technical and analytical skills.
• First aid and safety/basic firefighting training are preferred.
