The first year focuses on incident response, with senior-team support and training in GRC.
The role is designed to develop both technical security and governance skills early in a career.
Incident response and GRC
- Triage and investigate alerts across group companies, handle containment, and document incidents.
- Develop the ability to take on Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer responsibilities within twelve months.
- GRC work includes policy, risk registers, audit readiness, and compliance reporting.
Candidate requirements
- Have 1–3 years in IT or security, or be a strong graduate who knows the fundamentals.
- Show curiosity about how attacks work.
- Write clearly in English to explain security matters to people outside security.
- Security+, SC-200, or similar certification is a plus, not a requirement.
- GRC or COBIT experience is a plus.
