IT Infrastructure Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement Group-wide standards for servers, virtualization, cloud, and backup environments.
• Lead the Group service desk and establish service levels, escalation procedures, and support-quality measures across all sites.
• Consolidate platforms, tenants, and licensing and establish onboarding processes for newly acquired or integrated companies.
• Manage distributed teams covering systems administration, cloud operations, and service desk functions.
• Manage vendor relationships, infrastructure budgets, and cost allocation across operating companies.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience managing IT infrastructure across multiple companies or business entities rather than within a single organisation.
• People management experience with responsibility for distributed teams and budgets.
• Strong technical knowledge of virtualization, storage, backup, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Established service desk and IT service management experience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive standards adoption across companies outside the direct reporting line.

Location and Package

• The stated salary range is QAR 18,000–22,000 per month as a full package.
• The posting states that candidates must currently be based in Qatar.
• A transferable visa with NOC is required.
