e.construct is a multidisciplinary engineering firm providing design and value-engineering solutions for complex challenges.
The firm works on bridges, high-rise and commercial facilities, precast concrete, post-tensioning, structural, MEP, and geotechnical engineering.
Its emerging construction technology work includes concrete 3D printing and 3D laser scanning.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing concrete and UHPC mix designs and conducting laboratory trial batches.
- Test concrete, cement, aggregates, admixtures, and other construction materials using applicable ASTM standards and approved procedures.
- Record, organize, analyze, and interpret test data to evaluate and optimize trial mixes and materials.
- Help investigate abnormal or inconsistent results and repeat or troubleshoot trials under senior engineers’ direction.
- Prepare test reports, presentations, trial summaries, data sheets, and other R&D documentation.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating laboratory SOPs, test procedures, checklists, and work instructions.
- Operate laboratory equipment and assist with verification, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records, test data, sample identification, and traceability in line with good laboratory practices.
- Participate in R&D meetings and report updates, observations, and experimental results.
- Collaborate on research, product development, material evaluation, mix optimization, and implementation of R&D findings.
- Participate in technical training and continuous learning.
- Maintain accuracy in mix preparation, data recording, calculations, and reporting material properties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of concrete technology and construction materials is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and develop.
