Junior Procurement & Inventory Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing

• Sourcing & Quotations: Assist in identifying and evaluating local and international suppliers. Obtain competitive quotations to ensure the best value for money.
• Order Processing: Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) in compliance with school policies.
• Vendor Management: Maintain and update the supplier database, tracking order progress and resolving issues related to delivery or defective goods.
• Market Research: Conduct market surveys to identify new products and trends that could benefit school operations.

Inventory & Store Management

• Stock Monitoring: Regularly monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking of essential supplies.
• Receiving & Inspection: Coordinate the receipt of goods, ensuring that items delivered match the purchase orders and quality standards.
• Stock Issuance: Facilitate the delivery of resources to end-users (academic departments, facilities, etc.) and maintain records of all stock movements.
• Audits & Reporting: Participate in periodic inventory counts and audits to ensure no discrepancies between physical stock and system records
