About Your Team

Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you’ll work closely with procurement engineers, commercial teams, and suppliers. You’ll play a key role in supporting procurement activities and ensuring smooth coordination across stakeholders.

Your Role

As a Junior Procurement Engineer, you will:

• Assist in preparing RFXs and collecting supplier quotations
• Support technical and commercial bid evaluations
• Maintain procurement documentation, supplier records, and reports
• Coordinate supplier communication and assist with delivery tracking
• Provide support to team members across procurement tasks and reporting
• Learn and apply procurement systems, tools, and standards through hands-on experience
• Support team processes to ensure effective delivery of procurement objectives
• Promote Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) awareness and sustainable practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
• Apply technical knowledge to support high-quality procurement outcomes
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet business needs

Skills and Competencies

Essential:

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of procurement and/or engineering processes
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

• Intention to pursue or enrolment in CIPS certification
• Exposure to ERP or procurement systems through studies or internships

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience
• No prior experience required
