Junior Consultant Technical

Role overview

Technical discovery and solution design

• Lead customer discovery sessions and workshops to understand systems, integrations, and technical requirements.
• Design scalable, secure solutions and define architecture, data flows, integration patterns, and deployment approaches.

Integration and implementation

• Support integrations across enterprise systems, planning platforms, ERP systems, and third-party applications.
• Configure and support REST APIs, middleware, messaging systems, and data integration pipelines.

Application, testing, and go-live support

• Provide implementation support across Java, Vue.js, .NET, shell scripting, PL/SQL, Oracle, UNIX/Linux, WebLogic, GlassFish, J2EE, and JSP.
• Support integration testing, defect resolution, performance validation, production readiness, deployment, go-live, and stabilization.

Documentation and collaboration

• Create technical design documents, integration specifications, environment setup guides, and deployment documentation.
• Collaborate with customer and internal teams, support knowledge transfer, and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of enterprise application development, technical consulting, or software implementation experience.
• Hands-on Java, Angular, .NET, and bash/shell skills; experience with PL/SQL, Oracle, UNIX/Linux, middleware, J2EE, and JSP.
• Understanding of REST APIs, integrations, and enterprise application architecture; experience with testing, go-live, and production support.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills; English and German language skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Python, Kubernetes, data lakes, Snowflake, Kafka, and cloud-native platforms.
• Retail planning, supply chain applications, international retailer implementations, and large-scale data integration or distributed systems.
