Job Title: **Junior Barista

Job Responsibilities

• **Craft Quality Beverages:** Prepare a full range of specialty espresso drinks, pour-overs, and cold brews according to brand standards and recipes.
• **Dial In & Extract:** Adjust grind size, dose, and extraction variables daily to maintain optimal coffee flavor throughout your shift.
• **Milk Texturing & Latte Art:** Steam dairy and plant-based milks to perfect microfoam temperature and pour presentable latte art.
• **Signature Drinks & Mocktails:** Prepare non-alcoholic signature drinks and mocktails using fresh ingredients and house-made syrups.
• **Maintain Hygiene & Food Safety:** Follow HACCP principles, monitor ingredient temperatures, prevent allergen cross-contamination, and complete daily safety logs.
• **Bar Cleanliness & Maintenance:** Keep the bar clean, backflush espresso machines, sanitize tools, and execute deep-cleaning procedures.
• **Inventory & Opening/Closing:** Rotate stock using FIFO, track shelf life, and complete thorough opening and closing shift checklists.

Basic Qualifications

• **Experience:** Minimum 12 months of experience working as a barista or in a fast-paced specialty coffee environment.
• **Core Skills:** Basic knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming techniques, and a passion for learning about coffee origins and flavor profiles.
• **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication skills, a team-player attitude, and the ability to deliver great customer service under pressure.
