Job Title: **Bar Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Oversess the coffee program, sourcing, and recipe development for specialty espresso, pour-overs, and a curated mocktail menu.
• Lead the daily calibration of grinders and espresso extraction, troubleshooting variables to maintain consistent, premium flavor profiles.
• Train and certify junior staff in milk texturing, advanced latte art, drink preparation, and the nuances of flavor balancing.
• Enforce strict HACCP food safety guidelines, manage logs, ensure allergen protocols, and maintain a spotless, organized bar workspace.
• Manage preventive maintenance for high-end espresso machinery, grinders, and bar tools, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Handle ordering, waste tracking, and stock rotation (FIFO) for coffee beans, fresh produce, and house-made syrups to optimize margins.
• Design and implement efficient opening, closing, and high-volume station workflows to maximize speed of service without sacrificing quality.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Barista in a specialty coffee environment, with exposure to mixology or mocktail programs.
• Advanced knowledge of extraction science, water chemistry, milk chemistry, and a strong understanding of flavor theory for zero-proof drinks.
• Proven track record of leading, training, and motivating a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting with excellent organizational skills.
