Role Description
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Qatar team in an on-site, full-time capacity based in Dubai.
The Junior Accountant will assist with daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and supporting audits.
Additionally, the role involves helping to maintain accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and financial record management
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
- Prior experience in accounting or a related field is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is required
