Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Dubai office in a full-time, on-site role.
This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated candidate looking to build practical experience in accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, registrations, and audit support while working across a portfolio of client accounts.
Guidance and support will be provided.
The Junior Accountant will support client financial operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, reconciling accounts, assisting with VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, handling tax registrations, and supporting audit assignments.
The role also requires coordination with internal teams and external clients to help ensure accurate financial management and compliance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and books for client accounts
- Perform account reconciliations and support day-to-day bookkeeping activities
- Prepare and assist with VAT filings
- Prepare and assist with Corporate Tax filings
- Handle VAT and Corporate Tax registrations
- Assist in audits and related documentation
- Support client accounting, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams and external clients as needed
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years of accounting experience
- Fresh graduates may also apply, provided they have strong accounting knowledge
- ACCA, CIMA, CA, or CPA candidates preferred
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and Xero preferred
- Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is required
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities
- Positive attitude with a strong can-do, get-it-done mindset
- Organized, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team
