Overview
- Record accounting transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare customer and supplier reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support VAT return preparation and documentation.
- Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Prepare various financial reports as assigned.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Support the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations.
Experience
- 3–5 years of accounting experience.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience is mandatory.
- Experience in trading, contracting, manufacturing or group companies will be considered an advantage.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA (Part Qualified), CMA, CA Inter or CPA (Part Qualified) will be an added advantage.
