About This Role

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, banking, and administrative operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally, invoicing, banking coordination, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle basic administrative and travel coordination tasks.

This role requires accuracy, organization, multitasking ability, and a high level of responsibility.

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain books of accounts in Tally ERP
  • Record journal entries, purchase entries, sales entries, and payment vouchers
  • Reconcile supplier and customer ledgers
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing

2. Invoicing & Receivables

  • Prepare and issue sales invoices.
  • Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Reconcile revenue with bank receipts
  • Coordinate with internal departments for billing accuracy

3. Banking Support

  • Prepare payment instructions and bank transfer documentation
  • Record bank transactions in Tally
  • Perform periodic bank reconciliations
  • Coordinate with banks for routine operational matters
  • Maintain updated records of bank balances and payment schedules

4. Excel & Reporting

  • Prepare MIS and reconciliation reports using advanced Excel functions
  • Use formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, etc.
  • Maintain accounting schedules and supporting files
  • Assist management with financial data analysis

5. Administrative Support

  • Handle general administrative tasks including document management and filing
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers
  • Maintain office records and compliance documentation
  • Support HR with basic documentation and record-keeping when required

6. Travel & Coordination Support

  • Assist in coordinating travel arrangements (flights, hotels, visas if required)
  • Maintain travel expense records and reimbursements
  • Coordinate schedules and appointments when required
  • Support management with logistical arrangements for meetings and business trips

& Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP
  • Good understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
  • Experience in bank reconciliation
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
